The question I was asked, more or less directly, was: how do we make Eid feel like a special day at home?
The answer that came back from the families using it was simpler than anything I'd designed for. You decorate the heck out of the house, and you involve the kids in every single step.
That second half changed the kit.
The blank mosque
The printable mosque setup runs to six pages and it is the centre of the collection. But the piece I'd point at is the blank version — the same setup, undecorated, so a child can colour it in themselves.
A decorated house that the children watched an adult decorate is a nice house. A decorated house that the children coloured in is theirs. It costs nothing to include both versions and it changes what the kit is for.
What's inside
Thirty-three pages, in two colourways — teal and purple:
- Hanging decor — buntings (9 pages)
- Hanging decor — chain loops (2 pages)
- Money packets (2 pages)
- Prints (10 pages)
- Printable mosque setup (6 pages, including the blank colour-in version)
- Blank cards (4 pages)
Around $165 of value at single-page pricing. $14.99.
The money packets are the practical one. They get used, they get handed over, and they are the only piece in the kit that a child will keep.

Anaum decorated her playroom with this kit and let us share it — you can read that one here: Eid in Anaum's playroom.
